Hindu Shuffle Technique

There are several people who do not know how to shuffle cards at all or cannot do so with ease and effortlessly. The Hindu shuffle

A very popular method of shuffling cards in Asia is called the Hindu Shuffle, like the Overhead shuffle it is also considered to be an easy method of cards shuffling.

Holding position for shuffling

With the help of your right hand hold the deck face downwards. Seize it at the right end from top using your right thumb on the inner side and your ring fingers and right middle on the outer side.

Now use your left hand to seize at the left end of the deck form bottom. Old it with your left thumb on the inner side and you ring fingers and left middle should be on the outer side

The Movement for shuffling

• Hold the upper portion of the deck with your left hand and pull it to the left to separate it from the portion of the deck on to your right hand.
• When the portion of the deck is already separated, loosen the grip of your left hand a little bit to make the part of the deck on your left hand fall to your left palm.
• Repeat the exercise again, move your left hand to hold the upper portion of the deck that remains on the right hand and then pull and separate the same. Loosen the grip of your let hand and release the portion of the deck.
• Repeat this movement over and over again till all the cards held to your right hand has been shuffled off.

The main objective to this shuffle is to form a trap with the fingers and the cards fall easily in the palm. The index finger is very important since it will not allow the cards to fly everywhere.

The index finger of the second hand can go per your wish, it is better to keep out of the way.

It depends on you as to how many packets move smoothly from above, it is better to drag about ten packets and repeat the shuffle.

You should not perform fast initially, unless you want to perform the 52 card pick up trick.
